Stepping through the main lobby doors, guests are welcomed by an expansive space flooded with natural light. Natural stone flooring paired with a subtle geometric-patterned rug guides the way directly to the luxurious reception area. The space seamlessly blends modern elements with shimmering metallic details, reminiscent of the era when mechanical engineering first arrived at the port of Hai Phong.
A direct view of the reception desks showcases the meticulous material craftsmanship of the architects. Three monolithic metal counters are arranged in asymmetrical layers, creating a visual effect that recalls the metal ships forming old Hai Phong. Above, three large circular recessed ceiling lights finished in gold gleam like proud industrial gears illuminating the space. We have always envisioned a Hai Phong developing with the same opulence that boomed in America during the Roaring Twenties, seasoned with a contemporary twist.
Main hallway demonstrating a modern and airy architectural approach. The most captivating feature is the row of porthole-inspired circular windows, radiating a mystical blue light that mirrors the long maritime history of the trading port.
A detailed look at the maritime wall highlights five ship portholes emitting a magical neon blue glow. These circular metallic frames are mounted along a deep teal wooden backdrop, creating a powerful contrast with the light-colored travertine stone flooring below. This unique architectural detail serves as a direct tribute to Hai Phong's historical roots in ocean commerce.
The linearly patterned stone flooring stretches forward, creating a rhythmic movement that seamlessly guides guests along.
Venturing deeper into the lounge and bar area, the atmosphere at The Crimson becomes warm and romantic under soft pendant lighting. Plush velvet armchairs in deep purple and black are neatly arranged beside artistic glass partitions adorned with vibrant tropical patterns. This serves as an ideal sanctuary for guests to unwind, socialize, and immerse themselves in the contemporary vibe. The feature wall, stylized from flamboyant flowers, serves as a signature sense of place and an open invitation to explore the port city.
The corridor leading to the functional rooms exhibits a powerful sense of absolute symmetry. Both sides of the walls are adorned with striking red 3D relief sculptures, showcased inside illuminated metal-trimmed glass cabinets. At the far end of the hallway, large glass doors overlook a serene green backdrop, beautifully balancing architectural depth with a touch of nature.
Suite entrance opens into an intimate residential hallway that immediately establishes the design narrative. On the right, a deep teal feature wall displays an embossed, stylized relief map of the historic port city, celebrating its local heritage. Warm wooden flooring and textured wallpaper flank the path, leading the eye toward the sun-drenched living quarters visible in the distance.
A plush, low-profile sofa dressed in warm textiles sits opposite a leather-paneled television wall with sleek, curved edges. Underfoot, a rich teal area rug featuring intricate geometric accents anchors the seating arrangement, while expansive floor-to-ceiling windows present sweeping panoramic views of the city skyline below.
A standout feature within the living space is the bespoke, freestanding mini-bar cabinet, tailored like a vintage luxury travel trunk. Crafted with curved wooden doors and lined with metallic brass accents, its illuminated interior houses fine glassware and custom amenities. Positioned elegantly against a neutral textured wall, it stands next to a rich blue grid-paneled partition, adding an authentic touch of old-world glamour.
The bedroom is a masterclass in tailored luxury and comfort. A plush daybed sofa and a sleek marble-topped coffee table create a private lounge corner right beside the bed. The opposite wall features a leather-upholstered media partition hosting a flat-screen television, framed beautifully by large glass windows that flood the entire sleeping sanctuary with soft, natural daylight. Vertical deep teal slats meet a rich emerald fabric panel, framed by warm leather stitching. Delicate brass pendant lights hang beside the bed, casting a gentle glow over the crisp white linens
