P Coffee is a name that has become familiar to young citizen of Da Nang. This is the second coffee shop of this this brand located at a dynamic center near Dragon Bridge, Apec park and luxurious properties such as Danang Landmark, The Filmore, The Royal boutique... This new coffee station offers an ideal place to check-in for Danang youngsters and visitors with premium quality coffee and beverage.
Located at the ground floor of a building which has semi-classical facade, the language design of coffee shop should goes along with overall architecture, while inheriting the modern design style of the first P coffee station. The concept also had to present the idea of an old subway station with industrial materials. Moreover, the classic element must also be reflected in the design.
Normally it quite confusing when a design story with too many seemingly unrelated data. However, a hot pot is still able to show a dominant flavor, it is also possible to bring these parameters together. The key is to arrange the order of priority so that everything blend together and an interesting space is formed.
As can be seen above, we use corten steel revolving door to enhance the overall visual effect of the entrance, and increase the recognisability of this first check-in spot. Pebble stone floor is also a good selection for outside space and curve steps.
A round shaped bar is placed at the center that help customers are able to interact with every other person seats at the bar. This bar can also be perceived as the main feature of the space, serving as a strong focal point and atmosphere generator. To emphasize the main role of bar, we added an illuminated bottle display that could also rotate periodically.
We bring the ionic classic column detail into the elevation of the bar by vertical grooves. Stainless steel, luminous composite, concrete are symbolic materials that express the modern spirit.
We want to bring the breathe of a fresh city life into this coffee shop. The layout of seating is a combination of many arrangements, random but well organized. Every corner is memorable.
The restrooms also inherit design from the shop with rich texture materials blend with stainless steel.
